I signed some books, did some readings and bought a tee shirt at Lizzie Borden's house. That followed a week-long trip to L.A. to get an apartment. Me and E are going to be living in West Hollywood down the street from the Formosa. I'm hoping to start work on an original screenplay soon, seeing as how E and I are moving to LA in a few months. I'm still working on the novel as well, and have a few short stories in the process of not being written.

Also, I updated the links page, which still isn't nearly the List of Awesome that I want it to be. I have a longer version of the story which I may post here in the near future. In the tooting-my-horn department, check out the kind words author Dave Zeltserman lays on my story "Playing Dead," which appeared in Out of the Gutter #3:

This is as good a piece of dark urban pulp as I've across in years. The story involves a vicious Jamaican gang raiding a Brooklyn drug den intent on a massacre, and the lengths one guy is willing to go through to try to survive. The writing is pitch perfect, and the story so far takes the award for the most violent in the journal. Damn good stuff.
